Yankee-kun to Megane-chan!

Done watching the drama... It was good, with a few stupid parts,but overall it was funny and entertaining...I also found that Chika had a horrible problem with the way he spoke,its like at the end of his sentences he always dragged the last word,but yeah... : )

So yeah, my sis and I then started reading the manga... and the manga is obviously way better than the drama... I hated how Adachi just acts like she doesn't know Rinka even if it was to send her back home, that was a really harsh attitude towards her... but in the manga that whole thing was just a few pages and it wasn't so exaggerated... And the drawings are unbelievably good!! I mean usually the mangas that are turned into a drama usually have horrible drawings but this has great drawings!! The first time I read I kept observing the drawings carefully and I was amazed at it... : )

I highly recommend it for people who want a manga with fights, friendship, comedy and little bit of hilarious stupidity! (Though I'm not actually done with reading it completely... I LOVE IT!! :) )

Crush on you : Part three

The next day things were awful for Hikari...a complete opposite of what had happened yesterday... Her mother had yelled at her in the morning, she was compared to her sister and she was in a  horrible mood.

"I really want to get out of my house!" Hikari yelled and Mai nodded not knowing exactly how to calm the yelling Hikari as they walked to  class.

"Why am I the one always being compared? My sister's the perfect obedient daughter and I'm yelled at just because I'm not...that's not fair..." Hikari complained.

They then walked around the corner and when they were heading to class Akira was seated there, looking all bored.

"I need a beary hug!!" Hikari yelled running towards Akira and hugged her.

The three of them sat down outside class as Hikari explained what had happened... She had been yelled at by her mother for not having studied, but she was suffering from a headache and therefore she couldn't and she had then been discouraged by being compared to her sister.

"Would you guys still be friends with me if I do horrible in my exams?" Hikari asked.

"What the hell are you talking about!! The results have nothing to do with friendship, you idiot!!" Mai yelled annonyed at the way Hikari was thinking.

"Yeah... We didn't choose to become friends with you just cause your smart or dumb... none of that matters..." Akira explained.

"Thanks you guys," Hikari responded happily.

Soon Sakura and the others joined them and they walked to class. As they all sat down for biology, Hikari took her seat next to Shizuo and pulled out her biology book from her bag trying to quickly recall yesterday's lesson, when someone walked towards her and stopped right at her table. Hikari looked upwards and it was the guy from yesterday... he moved closer to her and  whispered in her ear,"This isn't like Ri-chan at all... you should smile like you always do..."

Hikari's eyes widened at hearing this and then the guy walked to the back of the class, taking a seat. Hikari turned around and stared at the guy.

Who's that guy? How does he know me? Hikari thought intently.

"Hikari?" Shizuo called.

"Isn't that the guy from yesterday?" Akira asked.

"Hikari, didn't he just speak to you?" Mai asked.

"I think he did..." Hikari replied in a daze.

"Are you alright, Hikari?" Sakura asked.

"Yeah... just a bit confused" Hikari replied.

The rest of the period passed with Hikari still confused over who the guy was. Afterwards during break, Hikari told everyone what the guy had said.

"So he knows you?" Shizuo asked.

"Probably or he's just mistaken me for someone else..." Hikari replied.

"But he did know you're the usual hyper one didn't he?" Akira replied and hikari nodded.

"So he must know you," Kyouko concluded.

"Then Hikari must know him too... don't you think so?" Mai suggested.

"But I don't remember... that's what's bothering me..." Hikari said.

"So maybe he's someone from your previous school..." Riko suggested.

"That's not possible... I told you I hated that school and I think everyone there hated me as well... I got bullied all the time... So yeah," Hikari explained.

"Maybe you've just forgotten," Sakura said.

"But-" Hikari was cut short when Shizuo exclaimed.

"That's possible!" Shizuo exlaimed.

"That explains everything, the guy knowing you but you not knowing him, but you do find him familiar, don't you?" Akira explained and Hikari nodded.

"Why don't you ask him yourself?" Riko asked.

"No way... I'm not going to do that... I'll try remembering..." Hikari said.

"But why not?" Kyouko asked.

"That'll be rude... I mean he knowing me but me not remembering..." Hikari explained.

"Then let's hope that Hikari remembers and solves this mystery for us..." Kyoko said smiling.

But would I remember... Hikari thought.

Crush on you : Part two

“What you all happy about, poo?”Akira asked looking suspiciously.

“Sakura? What happened?”Akira asked.

Sakura then explained what had happened and they all looked at Hikari.

“What?” Hikari asked feeling embarrassed.

“Nothing,” Akira replied sarcastically.

“Hikari…”Mai called her name as she poked Hikari, smiling.

“Stop it!” Hikari exclaimed pushing Mai’s hand away.

“Hikari is blushing,” Riko said trying to tease Hikari.

“I’m not…” Hikari said still happy.

“Hey I got an idea…let’s give Kai a nickname…Nightingale!” Kyouko exclaimed. 

“Why is it nightingale?” Akira asked.

“I don’t know. That name just popped in my head,” Kyouko replied.

“I think that name is fine,” Mai agreed.

“You never mind anything,” Akira shot back at Mai, who pouted.

“I agree with Kyouko too,” Riko replied.

“Then let’s just stick with that name, shall we?” Sakura asked as they all agreed.

“Hikari you don’t know, do you?” Shizuo suddenly asked, smiling widely.

“What is it? Tell me… Tell me!” Hikari curiously questioned Shizuo.

“Do you mean the assembly tomorrow?” Kyouko asked Shizuko, who nodded.

“Tell me!!” Hikari yelled.

“About Kai performing in the assembly…”Akira said.

“The assembly?” Hikari asked and they all nodded as they stared at Hikari intently.

“You mean he’ll be singing!!” Hikari exclaimed and they all nodded again.

“You’ll like that, won’t you?” Akira asked when Hikari looked away, happily.

The next day during assembly Hikari was sitting in the front row while the others seated in the second row.

“Why am I the only one in front?” Hikari asked annoyed.

“No particular reason…” they all replied in synchronization.

First the students performed a skit followed by Kai's performance. Hikari was so fixed on the performance and applauded loudly as it ended.

As they returned to class Hikari saw Kai walking towards her direction and she exclaimed,"You did great!" and high fived him, as he smiled, walking away.

"Today is such a great day!" Hikari eclaimed.

"Hasn't today just begun?" Akira asked.

"It must be the sight of nightingale that's affecting her," Mai said smiling.

"I'm just happy!" Hikari exclaimed again.

"Ri-chan..." Hikari heard someone speak just behind her, she immediately turned around as she saw a guy. He smiled and waved as he walked away.

"Do you know that guy?" Kyouko asked.

"Do you already have a boyfriend?"Mai asked.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Riko asked.

"Hikari?" Sakura called Hikari but her eyes were still following the guy that was at the far end of the corridor.

"Poo!! Come back to us!!" Akira yelled as she shook Hikari who then got hold of herself.

"Hikari, are you alright?" Shizuo asked, concerned and Hikari nodded.

"So, who was that guy?" Akira asked.

"I don't know..." Hikari replied shortly.

"Didn't he just call you Ri-chan?" Shizuo asked.

"Somehow that name sounds familiar..." Hikari replied.

"He's defintely your boyfriend that you're hiding from us, isn't he? How could you, Hikari!" Mai over exaggerated.

"If I was going out you guys would be the first to know," Hikari replied reassuringly. 

But really, who was he? He seemed so familiar... Even the nickname... But why is it it I don't remember? Hikari thought.

Crush on you : Part one

Hikari and Mai walked up to Akira and Kyouko, who were seated outside class. Hikari waved hyperactively and then threw herself at Akira.

“Aww poo…”Akira commented.

“Stop calling me poo!! And yeah, guess what. Mai created a fate story for me,” Hikari exclaimed.

“Does it involve nightingale?”Kyouko asked inquisitively.

“Yep!” replied Mai shortly.

“Its about me having a crush on Kai and how he too has a crush on me and the best part is that Kai and myself were apparently childhood friends…” Hikari concluded.

“Doesn’t that make it sound like fate…and the childhood friend part makes it so Japanese anime like…hehee…” Mai explained.

Akira just gave a plain look and Mai looked away.

“But poo, don’t you actually have a crush on Kai?” Akira asked trying to tease Hikari.

“Yeah, but it’s just a crush and I don’t want to get too caught up in it... Okay, maybe I’m majorly crushing on him…” Hikari replied looking embarrassed.

“Hmm…” Akira murmured narrowing her eyes looking suspicious at Hikari.

“Stop it!” Hikari yelled feeling embarrassed.

Soon the others joined, they included Riko, Sakura, Haruka and Shizuo. As they continued with their conversation, the bell rang for the first period, biology.

As they walked to class Hikari recalled how the AHSM had formed, it was because of the biology presentation they had to prepare that Akira, Hikari, Sakura, Mai, Shizuo and Haruka teamed up. They then met up a few times to prepare the presentation and had an awesome time hanging out together. Soon afterwards Akira, Hikari, Sakura and Mai started hanging out more often and it was then that the legendary AHSM formed (okay…that’s a little bit or should I say really  over exaggerated way of calling them)

During biology AHSM were having loads of fun especially watching Akira annoy Misaki, a short girl with a relatively large appetite (If Misaki were to read this… I just hope she doesn’t, and even if she does let’s hope she thinks I’m referring to someone else… but it’s be really hard to ignore the fact that I’m talking about her when it’s so obvious…*sigh*)

After biology they all walked to their class and as Hikari entered class, her eyes caught someone standing among the guys, it was most definitely her crush, Kai. She could feel her cheeks slightly burning but she couldn’t force herself to turn away, when she heard  someone cough, it was Mai, who was right behind her, she almost immediately averted her eyes afraid Mai would be sneering at her, turning around she asked abruptly,”What?”

“I was just coughing,” came the timid reply from Mai.

It was obvious Hikari was being overly self conscious. She then took a seat among AHSM and continued talking with them, trying to be her usual self.

Hikari then realized how much things had changed between Kai and herself since the start of the year. She had casually greeted him, listened to him singing and pounded fists with him but now it all seemed so awkward, ever since she realized she has a crush on him.

The next day was no different…or that was what Hikari thought until it was break, but things changed afterwards. Sakura and Hikari were in class as the others had gone to the canteen, when two guys entered class… it was Kai and the other guy, Kaeda. Hikari forced her casual hi, at Kai who calmly replied to it.

“How come you’re always so hyper?” Kaeda asked.

“It’s not such a bad thing being hyper… it’s actually good,” Kai replied.

“Yeah that could have been the case but I know too many hyper people,” Kaeda replied as he sat down and played with his phone.

Soon afterwards Kai left and Hikari looked overly happy.

“Do I look extremely happy?” Hikari asked afraid she wouldn’t be able to have a straight face when her friends returned and Sakura nodded, smiling.

But it was too late for her friends soon entered the classroom.

LIMBO!!!

Last week, during psychology we were free and someone suggested we play limbo and so we did. It was so much fun... but one of my lazy friend didn't want to but yeah. The next day I played limbo at home with my sis and it was FUN!! Ah just love limbo!!

"I decided to pick something more humble...MEGAMIND"

HILARIOUS!!! Yesterday night, my bro, sis and I watched "Megamind"... It was hilarious!! I highly recommend it!! I mean the main idea of megamind being the villain and how nothing he does ever comes right, how the girl, Roxanne who he kidnaps doesn't react how he expects her to and the whole idea of how metroman "dies"...

Further the fish, Minion and his "The Black Mamba" cape that was prepared to fight the new superhero that he created from megaman's DNA, Titan. But the whole idea fails and Titan wants to join hands with Megamind and rule the city. 

At the end Megamind decides to save the city by defusing the DNA that he had infused into Titan. But the best parts in the movie is how megamind and everyone else phrases their words.

Karate Demonstration Postponed!

Unfortunately the karate demonstration that was to be held in January has been postponed to March. I'm kind of actually sad and happy at the same time. Sad, because I can't break planks for some time and happy, because I don't have to go on stage and perform the kata individually. 

I suppose that's it :) 

Crazy For You!! :)

So yeah... read a manga recently... it consisted of 23 chapters. It was done by the same mangaka as kimi ni todoke, so yeah obviously the drawings were similar and good. I liked how different the main character was drawn compared to usual main characters who have straight hair.

 To begin with, I hated both the main characters-Yuki and Sachi... I find them both very annoying, I seriously don’t know why. My favorite character is Akahoshi *eyes shine*. At first obviously he doesn’t show interest in Sachi but he later begins to like her. But I HATE THAT freak, Sachi!! She should have just gone out with Akahoshi!! I mean he’s so sweet, he’s not the usual type of guy in the love triangle who interferes between the two main characters… Almost at the end of the manga, he tries to act mean to her but he couldn’t *sob sob*…but anyway he deserves a better girl than Sachi *sticks tongue out at Sachi!!*.

But I liked Yuuhei’s character as well… he’s so sweet. I mean even after that damn Yuki steals his girl, he still goes to his house to make sure he’s alright (almost at the end of the manga). He even gives a cold shoulder to Akemi (his girl) just to make sure she doesn’t waver in her relationship with Yuki… yeah I think that’s it : )

Overall it was a good manga to read,or maybe its just me because I hate not completely reading something  but yeah... I'd say an average manga :)

Breaking planks!!

YAAY!! I'm so happy that my strength has for once somewhat come in use.. I mean it has always helped me beating my friends but now it ACTUALLY helps!!

Yeah as the title suggests I was chosen to break planks for the demonstration... I mean I haven't broken them as yet, but the karate sir is practicing us to break planks first by trying to hit the sparring board to the floor while sir and the black belters hold it...

The demonstration will be held in January (I.A)... I hope the month would just be here soon *arghh!!*

Oh ya and I just got my karate uniform last week, so looking forward to wearing that as well for the next karate class...YAY!! : )

An unbelievable guy!

WOW!! I looked so different. I looked at myself in the mirror smiling brightly, satisfied by the difference I had been able to make. I had changed my hair style today after so many months hoping that Kurosaki would admit defeat.

I rushed to school and waved brightly as I saw Kurosaki, his eyes widened and seemed stunned. Was he really going to admit I looked pretty? I thought.

"You look..." he paused,"weird..."

I knew it...I punched him only to relieve my stress and walked away.

"Remove that lame thing off your hair!" he yelled after me but I simply walked away turning a deaf ear to him.

What a jerk! I thought.

School continued as usual but I avoided Kurosaki as much as I could. The bell rang after the last period and I rushed to my locker unusually late after my cleaning duties where I saw a group of guys.

"How cute Mizuki's got a new hairstyle," one of them commented as another touched it.

"Excuse me but I'd like to leave," I replied really annoyed, when one of them grabbed my hand and I kicked him, he lost his balance and fell to the ground.

"Hey what the hell are you doing!" another guy grabbed my hand and something detached from it, falling to the ground, it was the bracelet Kurosaki had given me.

I pushed the guy holding me and bent down to pick the bracelet when one of them trampled it, the beads split apart. my hand shivered as I clenched them in anger, I wanted to beat them up so badly, but my eyes were feeling uneasy due to my tears, when I heard Kurosaki's voice.

"You guys chose the wrong girl to pick on...she'll rip you apart so its best you move it fast or do you want me to help her send you guys away?" Kurosaki said as his eyes narrowed.

They rushed out of school. He moved towards  me and pulled me up telling me I shouldn't worry about petty things like a bracelet.

"Its the first thing you gave me,you jerk!" I yelled as I rushed out of school.

But I didn't want to leave not until I got the beads all collected. I returned a few  minutes later and found found kurosaki picking them up. On asked what he was doing he replied," I'm going to try asking the art club to fix it or I think I'll-" he paused as he looked at me in surprise. I smiled brightly when he stood up, looking away embarrassed.

"Thanks..." I said grinning,"And I'm sorry for yelling at you."

"Idiot!" he remarked as he put his hand on my head and messed up my hair.

He's just embarrassed...I thought,what an unbelievable guy!
